Description
- Recommended Experience:
- Minimum of two years’ experience in the inpatient setting, operating as a Hospitalist. Ideally, experience in the LTACH setting and/or familiarity in this setting
- Employment Options:
- 1099 Independent Contractor; W-2 available for added Medical Director duties
About the Opportunity
- Day Shifts: 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. or 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m (ALL in person, no telemedicine)
- Block scheduling: 7 days on, 7 days off
- Night shifts are covered by telemedicine physician. No requirement for night coverage.
- Avg daily census is 45 ppd, split between 3 providers (2 MD/DO and 1 APP)
- No procedures required
- Critical Care experience preferred; the provider will be seeing chronically ill but high acuity patients
- Support staff includes in-house Cardiologist, ID, Pulmonary, and Nephrology physicians
- EMR: HMS for order entry; Patient Keeper for documentation
